Don’t want to turn on the oven in the summer heat? These 19 easy no-bake dessert recipes are simple to make and always disappear in a flash from cookouts and potlucks!

If you’ve been around here for a while, you know how much we love an easy dessert recipe.
From easy white chocolate mousse for a special date-night in to a pan of potato chip rice krispie treats for the big game, I know that you don’t have to spend a lot of time or energy making something truly delicious.
And when the weather gets hot, all I want to do is whip up refreshing no-bake desserts. I don’t want to heat up my entire house by turning on my oven—it’s already hot enough! Luckily, I’ve got a whole bunch of recipe options to choose from.

No-bake recipe staple ingredients
I make a ton of no-bake desserts all throughout the year, but especially in the summer. I take them to cookouts, whip them up for a poolside treat, and share them with neighbors.
There are a few key ingredients that I keep in the fridge, freezer, and pantry at all times so I can whip up one of my favorite no-bake recipes at a moment’s notice.
Pantry ingredients:
- Graham crackers or prepared graham cracker crusts
- Oreos and Nilla Wafer cookies
- Cherry pie filling (or I keep a few batches of homemade cherry pie filling in the freezer)
- Instant pudding mixes (Usually vanilla, chocolate, cheesecake, and sometimes lemon)
- Canned crushed pineapple
- Marshmallow fluff
- Mini marshmallows
- Peanut butter and/or Nutella
Refrigerator and freezer ingredients:
- Cream cheese
- Whipped topping
- Bananas, berries, or other seasonal fruit
Occasionally I’ll have to run to the store to grab one or two specific ingredients for a recipe, but I can make a whole bunch of great, simple desserts from this mix of staples.
