S’mores are everyone’s favorite summertime treat. These 12 s’mores recipes take that classic combination of graham crackers, melty chocolate, and gooey marshmallows and transform it into everything from cookies and brownies to trail mix. Even if you don’t have access to a campfire this summer, you can enjoy s’mores all season long!

S’mores are one of my favorite summertime treats. In fact, they might come second only to cheesecake.
I love the gooey toasted marshmallows. I love the warm, melty chocolate. I love the sweet, crisp graham crackers.
They’re pretty much the perfect summer treat.
I love them so much, that I have spent years coming up with fun twists on the classic campfire combination of marshmallow + chocolate + graham crackers. And I thought it was about time to pull some of my favorite variations into one place!

The very best marshmallows
These s’mores recipes range from quick and easy no-bake desserts to cheesecakes that take more time to make. But the thing they all have in common is some form of graham crackers, chocolate, and marshmallows.
You can buy the marshmallows for any of these recipes at the store. But for the recipes that call for full-size marshmallows, there’s one way to really take them to the next level: make your own marshmallows.
Homemade marshmallows are easier to make than you might think, and the flavor and texture can’t be beat. They make the very best s’mores, especially if you pair them with homemade graham crackers.
Plus, you can even make them in different flavors, such as my strawberry marshmallows. (Try that recipe using freeze-dried raspberries for raspberry marshmallows, too!) It’s a super fun way to add a fruity twist to the campfire classic.

My 12 favorite reimagined s’mores recipes
All of these recipes add a new spin to the traditional s’more, and all of them are perfect for summer entertaining. Choose any of these treats to serve at your next cookout and watch all of your friends swoon.

Frozen S’mores
This recipe uses marshmallow fluff to turn your s’mores into something similar to an ice cream sandwich. They’re cold and creamy and super refreshing on a hot day! They’d be perfect for bringing to a barbecue or for enjoying after a long day at the pool.

S’mores Pie
We love a no-bake pie around here, and this is one of my favorites! The topping has marshmallow fluff in it, but I still love to sprinkle some mini marshmallows on top so guests know what they’re digging into.

S’mores Cheesecake

S’mores Cookies
These cookies add chopped Golden Grahams cereal to chocolate chip cookie dough. When the cookies are partly baked, we’ll top them with mini marshmallows, chocolate bar pieces, and more cereal before we finish baking.

S’mores Dip
One of my favorite easy recipes! Dig into this melty dip with graham crackers or even fresh fruit or pretzels for a sweet and salty treat.

Easy S’mores Brownies
These easy brownies dress up a boxed mix with a graham cracker base and a topping of gooey mini marshmallows. They’re seriously so easy, anyone can make them! I typically make them with a classic brownie mix, but you could try this recipe with dark chocolate or salted caramel brownie mixes instead.

Golden Graham S’mores
If you love cereal treats, you’ll love this recipe. We’re using graham cracker cereal in place of Rice Krispies here for a super easy treat. The kids love to help me make this one!

Mini S’mores Cheesecakes
Love the idea of a s’mores cheesecake but don’t want to make a big one? Make these mini ones instead!

S’mores Trail Mix
There is literally nothing easier than this trail mix. Dump the ingredients into a bowl, stir, and dig in! Portion it into bags to take on a hike or camping trip, or just snack on it while watching a movie at home.

Toasted Hazelnut S’mores
This version of the campfire favorite has a gourmet feel to it thanks to replacing the graham crackers with waffle cookies and using Nutella in place of the chocolate bars. Don’t forget to add some toasted hazelnuts for an extra-fancy feel! (Don’t worry—these are still super easy to make.)
