There are some days where I’m legitimately excited to bake all day. I look forward to the grocery shopping experience, I’m excited to spend time in the kitchen, I want to get all of my ingredients and measuring spoons out on the counter.
And there are days where I just want to enter the kitchen to get no-effort-involved, pre-made food that literally takes less than 5 seconds to prepare. Today is one of “those” days.
I would normally grab an actual apple, slice it up, and dip it in some peanut butter, but I’ve been avoiding the grocery store for the last week or so. I just went over my finances and may or may not have gone over my grocery budget. For the last two months. EHEM. Anyways… So I’m cracking down and using ingredients I already have in my pantry.
Today, I was in the mood for something sweet (like always), and I was definitely feeling the peanut butter groove baby (again, like always). But I also wanted something super quick and easy, because I’m a lazy butt. I took out my blender, almond milk and peanut flour, then I found some unsweetened applesauce in the back corner of my pantry.
Ooooo, I know. Peanut Butter Apple Milkshakes! And BOOM. There you have it, folks.
