Healthy Key Lime Pie Milkshake — sweet, tart and suuuper creamy, it’s like Key Lime Pie filling in smoothie form! You’d never know it’s refined sugar free, low carb, low fat, high protein and gluten free. Yes, really!
And this is a damn good recipe to share as my first post as a university graduate! Yes, I graduated on Saturday, May 16th. I’m done everybody.
BOOM. DONE. FINITO. *balloons fall from sky*
Graduation turned into a stadium-wide party:
But before this huge celebration? The entire week was incredibly hectic. Not only was it finals week, I had to move out of my apartment and pack up to travel across the US — Arizona to New York. I packed up my closet, all my (800-pound) textbooks, my pantry, etc.
The only appliance I kept out until the very end was my blender. But, that didn’t mean I had to make a boring smoothie everyday. I made some deeeelicious smoothies and milkshakes throughout that week, I can’t wait to share the recipes with y’all 🙂
I decided to start with this Key Lime Pie Milkshake.
Pie in a milkshake? Totally! It’s faster (and way easier) than baking a pie, and this version is totally healthy too. It’s seriously amazing guys. It’s so thick and creamy, sweet and tart, addicting and chug-worthy… I know I’ll be making it time and time again.
This Healthy Key Lime Pie Milkshake is perfect for when you’re craving a slice of Key Lime Pie but don’t want a whole pie sitting around to tempt you 😉

In a high-speed blender (I used my Vitamix), add all of the ingredients and blend until completely smooth.

Refrigerate for later or serve immediately with natural whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs (try my Gluten-Free Graham Crackers!)

Maybe I’ll take both servings while I’m at it 😉
After graduating and all, the only thing I want to eat is DESSERT five times a day. And this totally qualifies as dessert. And breakfast. And lunch and snacks. And dare I say DINNER?? 😉

With love and good eats,
