Are you a chocolate lover? If you are, I LOVE YOU and you’re at the right place, because you just found a recipe for Healthy Nutella Baking Chips!
These Healthy Nutella Baking Chips are like chocolate chips but BETTER. They’re like chocolate chips on crack.
The rich dark chocolate and sweet Nutella combine to make the fudgiest, most decadent, and most satisfying chocolate-hazelnut chips one can wish for!
If I told you how many times I’ve made my Homemade Nutella recently, I’m not sure if you’d give me a high five or a punch in the arm… it’s quite a shocking number. I just maayybe use it a little too much. Are you going to (virtually) punch me?
Well, I hope not, because my total overuse of the stuff has brought these delicious Healthy Nutella Baking Chips into existence!
No, no, this isn’t any old recipe that should be bookmarked for later or pinned to a Pinterest board that you’ll likely never revisit. THIS, my dear friends, THIS is a necessity. You MUST have it.
Once you’ve had a taste of these Nutella Baking Chips, regular chocolate chips will become plain and boring.
Similar to chocolate chips, these Healthy Nutella Baking Chips are totally snackable on their own.

-
In a microwave-safe bowl, add the chocolate chips. Microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring between each one, until the chocolate is melted. Stir in the nutella until fully incorporated.
-
Scoop the mixture into a piping bag fitted with a round tip (I used tip #804). Pipe the mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate the chips until firm.
-
Transfer the chips to a container, seal tightly, and store in the freezer. When using the chips in baking (cookies, brownies, etc.), add them to the dough/batter straight from the freezer.
**I’m sure regular dark chocolate will work just fine too!
